Text Box: Beast and Bow is a new guild for Guild Wars rangers and ranger crosses. If your primary or secondary class is ranger, then this is the place for you! If you like having a pet at your side or firing your bow at that ugly Charr from afar, then this is the place for you! At the present time our members are focused primarily on PvE, but in the future are open to doing a little GvG! You are a welcome member if you prefer PvP as well. During Medieval Times when guilds first came into existence, they were specifically for a specific craft or profession. There were mason guilds, potter's guilds, carpenter's guilds, and the like. The purpose of these organizations was to perfect that particular craft or profession through shared knowledge, and to provide a support group for its members.  Were there ever really "guild wars"? While not on the scale of the Crusades or the Norman Invasion of England, rivalries between guilds could in fact get rather heated. Over time, each guild came to think of itself as being the best.
